Accredited Johnes advisors available to provide control plans required by many milk buyers.
Johne’s disease affects all ruminant species including cattle, sheep and goats.
It is characterised by a slowly progressive wasting of the animal and increasingly severe diarrhoea. The disease is caused by a bacterium called Mycobacterium avium subsp. paratuberculosis (MAP).
Most affected animals are culled due to poor production and fertility, causing significant economic losses.

Please contact us if you would like to enrol in the scheme. The funding is available on a ‘first come first served’ basis.
